I was haunted today by a song. I heard it on the way to work on my car radio and then heard it again on the way home, on an entirely different station. It happens to be one of my favorite songs but hearing it twice in the same day during my 15 minute (round trip) commute is too much coincidence for this Witch.As with any song the lyrics have been interpreted many ways. I personally focus on the refrain:
You can’t always get what you want
but you might just find
you get what you need.
A powerful message to hold on to during this time of working too hard, sleeping too little and worrying all the time.
