First Quarter Down - Little Accomplished - Starting Over

Here it is April 1, 2008, the year is officially one quarter passed and I have accomplished little in terms of “transforming my life.” Since my choices are to keep plodding along, merely existing or grabbing hold of the reins of my life and trying again to live differently I think I will choose the later.

My first order of business will be to revise my 101 in 1001 list. If I start today, it ends on Miss Angst’s 16th birthday (Princess Nibbles will be 11). I, my friends and readers, will be 41.

I realized that one of the reasons I stopped blogging here was that I had nothing positive to say. This blog is to be my own exploration, my own journey, and the path is not always going to be smooth and pleasant. This blog will resume its use of highlighting the activities in my day, my hopes, my fears, etc and we will see together where it takes us.

It’s OK to be sad and down. A blog is there to get all that stuff out so you can be more positive in your daily life.

It’s really difficult to make any sort of changes, let alone entire transformations. I am doing a similar thing with my own life, and it’s sometimes very easy to let the negative take over. I’ve favorited this blog, because it’s really comforting to know I’m not the only one, and your bad days as well as your good are important, for it’s how we deal with the bad days that will, in the end, help the good days come along more often, I think.

Thank you, both of you ….

I intend to spend more time here posting not only about my aspirations and successes but my failures as well. I am working on things even when Im not here and right now the bulk of my time has been eaten up by a pain flare and my 2007 taxes. Plan to see more of me soon.
